Madison Metro provides daily bus service within and around the City of Madison, and students receive a free bus passes each semester.

Badger Bus provides service from the UW-Madison campus to Milwaukee, including the Milwaukee Mitchell Airport (MKE).

The Van Galder Bus Company provides service from the UW-Madison campus to Chicago’s O’Hare (ORD) and Midway Airport (MDW) and to downtown Chicago as well.

Madison (Dane County Regional) Airport (MSN) also serves Madison and the surrounding areas with major airlines, including Delta, United, and American.

Several private taxi companies also operate in and around Madison.

Madison is one the most bike-friendly cities in the country, according to Livability.com. It features a large network of both on- and off-road bike paths. More information about bike routes and rentals can be found here.
